Our Story

Sunday Girl was born from a dream, and a lifetime of experience.

Having spent over 35 years in the fashion industry, working behind the scenes with many great brands, I learned the ins and outs of design, quality, and fit, but I also saw what was missing: clothes that truly celebrated real people and real lives.

As a family-oriented mother of three very different (and very amazing) individuals, I wanted to create more than just another fashion label. I wanted to build a brand inspired by comfort, inclusivity, and timeless style, something that felt like home.

The idea for Sunday Girl came from a simple, honest moment with my family. We realised we couldn’t always find clothes that made us all feel comfortable and confident -pieces that embraced our shape and size without compromise, so we decided to create them.

Sunday Girl is all about that easy, carefree Sunday feeling, no stress, no rush, just pure laid-back fun. Inspired by Blondie’s iconic anthem, our brand captures the spirit of effortless style and modern living.

We design for real life, for women who want to look cute, feel cozy, and move through life with confidence. Whether you’re sipping coffee, dancing to your own rhythm, or simply lounging in style, Sunday Girl is made for you.

And now, we’ve extended that vision to the next generation, with girlswear that’s fun, relaxed, positive, and practical. Just like our womenswear, our girls’ pieces are designed to move, play, and live in. They’re built for individuality, comfort, and joy, so every girl can feel confident and carefree, just as she is.

Our commitment is simple: to create timeless, relaxed clothing that fits real bodies and real lives – with no squeezing, no rules, and no limits. Just soft fabrics, flattering cuts, and feel-good fits that work with you, not against you.

Comfort isn’t an afterthought for me – it’s the heart of everything I create. Fashion should be fun, inclusive, and never make you feel like you have to fit into a mold.

We’re not here to chase trends. We’re here to help you build a wardrobe you’ll want to live in, whether you’re running errands, making memories, or doing absolutely nothing at all.

This brand isn’t just my dream- it’s a family journey and a legacy in the making and I’m so proud to share Sunday Girl with you!

With love,
Jo x
